When I was sick, I felt so powerless. I would wake up with a funny feeling and not know if I was having a flair or if it was nothing. And maybe that's you. Your doctor tells you to control your stress, change your lifestyle, diet, but you feel so powerless and unsure of where to start.
Well, today is the day to start taking your power back! My goal is to help you reclaim your health so you –not your diagnosis – are the one calling the shots. I want you to feel better more often despite your diagnosis. I want to see your labs improve and your flares get further apart, if not disappear completely. I want you to enjoy your life.
Good news! This course was specially created with those goals in mind. I’ve taken what I’ve learned from my own experience and the experiences of those I’ve coached to create this 3 week course to help you feel more empowered.
This is a mini-course, but it will give you big results. Over 21 days you are going to learn how to manage your stress, listen to your body, and find out which foods do and don't work for you.
This is big, important stuff that will have a positive ripple effect throughout your health. So let’s get to work so you can take your power back!
I have had a broken relationship with my body since I was a little girl and I got it into my head that I was fat. This lead to eating too much of the wrong kinds of food as a kid and then eating little to no food as a teenager while pushing my body hard at the gym. Eventually, my poor eating and the physical and emotional beating I gave my body resulted in autoimmune thyroiditis in my early 20’s.
I did not deal with this well. I was addicted to stress and so angry at my body for bailing on me in this way. While I was finally wising up and looking at my diet and lifestyle I was given my second autoimmune diagnosis, Lupus. Luckily I had worked with my own fabulous health coach so I had hope and the tools I needed to take a holistic approach to my health.
My own transformation was so powerful that I wanted to help others have their own. So I ended a stable and challenging career in public policy and went back to school to become a health coach.
Today, I am in remission from Lupus. I have given up my addiction to stress, healed my relationship with my body, and have a totally different relationship to food. I also had the privilege to be a part of others health transformation on a daily basis. I love what I do!
